Yoga with its workings as regular exercises, a balanced diet, raw foods, juices and sufficient sleep, is the most excellent cure for all cervical problems by relieving tension, managing pain and strengthening muscles. The following exercise will assist to fight CS:

Look straight ahead. Turn gently to the right to look over right shoulder. It is essential that the body remains straight while only the neck turns. Go back to starting position and turn left. You can join this with breathing sequence: inhale as you look ahead, exhaling always as you twist. Breathe in to return to base position. This simple exercise can be done every few hours.

The following poses will help to fight CS:

Salabhasana (Locust Pose) and Poona Salabhasana (Full Locust Pose) are outstanding for carpel tunnel, tennis elbow. Compresses and opens spine, strengthens lower, mid and upper spine, creates more elasticity in whole spine, increases tone of muscle fibres, accelerates circulation of spinovial fluid, holds vertebrae in position and relieves cervical spondylosis.

Chest openers are compulsory to boost the flexibility of the thoracic spines towards backward bends and asanas like Sethu Bandhasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, and Chakrasana have significant spinal backward bending movements that our dull flexed spines need.
Complimentary postures like Ushtrasana and Yoga Mudra invigorates and revitalizes the whole body and are great relaxations for persons suffering from CS. The benefit of the yogic practices are that they give a full body workout by undoing the knots that block the transport of blood, nutrients and energy throughout the body thereby strengthening the support systems around a joint, like the muscles, tendons and develop bone thickness.
